Cancellation Policy
Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice.
Our Policy:
· Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services or $50.00, whichever is more.
· If you are late for your appointment, or do not have the necessary requirements (ex: drivers license, ORI number, paper work etc...) we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.
· We require a credit or debit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file. There is a 15% processing fee on all credit/debit card refund payment.
· In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, part of your cancellation fee may/may not be applied to future services.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when an appointment is missed without cancelling. In either case, we will charge 50% of the reserved service or $50.00, whichever is more missed appointment fee. There is a 15% processing fee on all credit/debit card refund payment.
All Livescan fingerprint scans are done by appointment only. So it’s simple, make an appointment on this site, then come to our office in Palm Springs and get your scans.
If an employer or volunteer organization is requesting live scan fingerprints from you, they likely will provide you with an ORI number. Or you may be doing it for a license: you’ll need to get in touch with the regulatory agency who is requesting you be fingerprinted.
Your fingerprint quality is determined by many other factors, some of which are beyond your control. Examples of factors you can’t control include skin health and dryness, age, medications you’re taking, acute hyperhidrosis, sweating, and genetics. Factors you can control are listed below.
Strangely enough, the single most important thing you can do to help with your fingerprint quality is to NOT wash your hands — or use hand sanitizer immediately prior to your fingerprinting appointment! Don’t worry, we’ll help you get clean afterward.
For 24 hours, drink plenty of water. You get extra points if you minimize caffeine and alcohol as well.
Apply oil-free moisturizing lotion to your hands a couple of times the day before the appointment and again the morning of the appointment; especially after you wash your hands.
Do not swim before your Livescan appointment. In fact, don’t have your hands in water (especially salt water) prior to your fingerprinting appointment. Maybe this is also a chance to get out of washing the dishes just once.
Cool your hands before coming in for your fingerprinting appointment, especially on hot humid days.
It’s time to go to our appointments page (button below) to reserve your time slot, then take a moment to read about what you can do to help ensure your fingerprints are the best quality
